The VECTR Center provides career advisement and counseling for all 22 Technical College System of Georgia colleges. In addition, in-residence courses are taught on site by Central Georgia Technical College (see Programs).
VECTR advisors will:
Testing: On-site services to include both paper-and-pencil tests and computer-administered standardized tests needed for admission, distance learning, workforce development, credentials, and licenses. Click here for testing information.
Community Support: The VECTR Community Resource and Resiliency officer works closely with the United Way’s Mission United Veteran Navigator. Together, they serve as liaisons to programs and resources for transitioning military, veterans or their families in six primary areas: Education, Employment, Housing, Health Care, Financial, and Legal assistance
Georgia Department of Veterans Service Officers counsel and assist veterans in all matters pertaining to veteran's benefits, from determining eligibility for earned benefits to gathering documents and information required to support benefits claims to following claims and they wind through the VA system.
